    I thought we already knew that the first review of this game was going to be at least an 8, wasn't that the deal they made?  I haven't gotten my GI in the mail yet so I will still read it, but all the same I expected the first reviewer's to have a high score.

    This looks great. I usually trust Reiner's word so I am going to say this is a reliable review. Honestly, GI is pretty good in the long run.

    @CL60: Was it? All I remember was reading the thread on Giantbomb. Seeing as I believed it that would explain why I wasn't surprised at that score. The demo played great though, I'm looking forward to getting my hands on it.

    9.5? Sweet jeebus, the demo didn't reek of awesomeness or anything. It was alright and seemed like a damn fine rental but 9.5? I don't know if this spikes my interest in the game more or it makes me wonder of the legitimacy of that review. I still plan on renting it though.

    Yes, some blogger started the rumor and for some reason everybody believed him like he was Jesus and knew everything or something.

    Sounds totally awesome. Man, I can't wait. It's a bummer about the final battle, though. Either way, if positive reviews like this continue, it looks like I'll have no choice but to pick this one up.

    I just played the demo and liked it better than expected.  Too bad there are many other games on top of it on my list to buy.  If only I had more money.

    Damnit. I thought that this game was going to be meh until i played the demo. then i thought it would be alright. then this review comes out, and it looks like a freaking awesome game. that i want to buy. that will cost money. that could go to AC2 or MW2. :(

    Looking good, PS3 version on launch sounding more and more plausible to me, though it's disappointing to hear that the last fight is a little crappy (though I suppose Bioshock suffered the same problem).

    I think its awesome even tho I believe the bribe thing. eidos has done this before but i still think it deserves the 9.5 the demo was awesome and i am definitly going to buy it.
