Well, here's your weekly update from your friendly neighborhood Sunny. (Oh, wait, that's a Spiderman reference. Damn.) This week, and by this week I mean yesterday, I rented Batman: Arkham Asylum. You may have heard this already, but it's pretty damn good. How good? It's "I have to stop playing this game because it's two in the morning" good. Everything from the satisfying combat, mission variety, and great presentation makes this game hard to put down. One of the things that I love about the game is the smart and well written dialog that comes out of the villain's mouths as they taunt you. It puts personality into an otherwise dark game. The amazing voice work is just icing on the cake.

I do have my gripes, though. For one, Harley Quinn is way overdone.

Yeah I thought that she was kinda hot... until I saw Poison Ivy. Poison Ivy was the hotness of the game, bats Harley out of the ball park.

I just finished the game friday afternoon, It only took me 3-4 play sessions to get through the game. I loved the game though.
 
If you think Harley's look is overdone, wait until you see Poison Ivy.

I agree with you 100% on Harley Quinn. Plus her voice makes me want to punch... anything. But I love the scarecrow sequences, the platforming is meh, but they are pretty trippy. The thing with me is, it's so hard to stop playing the game, because it never gives you a reason, or place, to stop!
