Why the does Scarecrow sound like Judi Dench?

Seriously for the first two inteview tapes I collected of his I thought it was a female just talking about him, but holy crap that is supposed to be his voice?!?  I guess Cillian Murphy would be too much to hope for but seriously they couldn't have at least had a male do his voice?

Hmm... I thought the voice for the Scarecrow was really good.

Isn't scarecrow supposed to be this wimpy former psychologist, who relies on scaring his enemies for fighting, I guess the voice is meant to show this off.

Yeah he's meant to be wimpy, but he does sound too much like a woman. He sounds cool in the game, it's just the interview tapes.
