    The best superhero game

First let me tell you that this is the best liscenced superhero game I've ever played (although infamous is slightly better but lets ignore that for now). The first thing I will deal with is the most important the gameplay, it is ALMOST perfect. I say almost because the dectective mode used in the game, while an interesting mechanic sometimes makes the game a little too easy, for example you don't know where to go in the room but you go into the dectective mode and you see a glowing grate to crawl through or a wall to blow up. Speaking of the grates that is one thing that gets a little repetative having to open them and crawl through the same generic vents all through the game. The next thing I will get to is the combat and stealth areas, while when fighting armed men is a little generic having to swing up to gargoyles and dodge them it still gives you a thrill when you take someone down with a glide kick and get away without anyone seeing you, the same thrill is given when you use a silent takedown to "kill" someone and then take out some of his friends. The riddler sections are also quite interesting and well implementated as you have to actually use your brain to figure things out and not just go into a room beat someone up and get the challenge. The next is story, it is very generic, joker takes over arkham and you have to stop him, but the way that story is told is almost perfect, tense and gripping with some interesting twists and turns along the way. Now I will talk about the sound and graphics, they are both almost second to none. The graphics look almost real and it drags you in to beliveable looking characters that you'd be forgiven for thinking actually exist. The sound is also oneof the best i've heared in any game not just liscenced ones like this. The voice acting is excellent and the stand out performance is Mark Hamill as the joker, as he goes from sounding like he is in complete control and taunting the batman and his own men to going crazy and aggitated as you get closer to stopping him. All in all this is a very good game full stop and would have done well even without the batman name on it, and I hope this sets a trend for good superhero games and doesn't just open the floodgates for a load of crappy tie ins that come around every year, even though it will and people will be suckered in on the promise every game has changed.

      Batman: Arkham Asylum Review 0

This is the best Batman game ever made. This is perhaps the best comic-based game ever made. It's probably also the best stealth-action game this year. So, what makes this such a great game?It makes you think like Batman. It's that simple. You have to think like Batman in order to survive. There are three aspects to Batman: Arkham Asylum. The brawler, where you're dropped into a room of unarmed goons and have to knock them all out. The predator, where you're dropped into a room of armed goons a...

Inmates aren't the only ones crazy for Batman: Arkham Asylum 0

Simple and satisfying martial art combat, stealthy take-downs,  bat shaped gadgetry, and detective intelligence gathering are all delivered so well in Batman: Arkham Asylum that you will leave this game with no less than a wonderful taste in your mouth. How that taste got there is due to the interesting character interaction between Batman, his allies, and the villains that fans and newcomers alike will find intriguing, humorous, and authentic.  The bottom line is this game is really fun and you...
