I am a pc gamer.... but some of those comparison shots are just stupid. Seems that there is just more stuff for the sake of more stuff.

Dude wtf are you talking about, there are tonnes of games out there with PhysX. This isn't a special feature implemented just for this game. Hell, even the first Arkham Asylum had it. Either way, it's the DX11 features that will make this game a lot better than the console version, just like the first one was.

Let me guess though, I can tell by your hate that you're a console gamer, right?

Aye, almost all that video was generic footage. The mist/fog stuff was nice but other than that, much like as it was used in Arkham Asylum, that extra processing goes towards shifting a million bits of useless paper round on the floor.

Why wait when you can experience the game 2 times? That's what I did for Batman Arkham Asylum(got it on PS3 then PC). It's kinda a great way to experience games when possible.

This could have been really cool if it was implemented a little more tastefully. In many of the sections shown, it seemed like they cranked the PhysX all the way to fuck and gone just because they could. The swirling mist looks fantastic, and more subtle effects like that one would be a welcome change from "HOLY SHIT LOOK AT ALL THIS PAPER OH FUCK I CAN'T MOVE WITHOUT A PAPERCUT."

Looks good, though I think I may have to upgrade from my GTX 260 for this, skyrim and battlefield 3. I know enabling physx in arkham asylum brought me down to around 5fps at times in the fight with riddler.

I'm playing PS3 one, the game looks awesome Unreal Tech for the win!

Goddamn, did someone just piss in Giantbomb's collective coffee this morning? Cynicism everywhere. Its an extra feature that adds to the visual flair of the game, no need to act all high and mighty because you don't want it in the versions you're already playing.

Cool.  I was exactly surprised to see the game cheaper than the console version as well.  Seems like lately every big console game has been $59.99 on PC.

I thought this was going to be a LoL thread. And I am waiting for the pc version. This makes me feel a bit better, i think it will present the game as more realized. But I would play on a console gladly from what I have seen, if that was the only choice. It's not like it's comparing Ps2 to GTX 580 sli /direct X 11, the present consoles are 'good enough'.
