Mark Hamill said this is the last time that he will be voicing the Joker, and Paul Dini the writer of the Batman Animated series and Arkham City did kill the Joker in the Batman Beyond movie.

Just because a voice actor stops doing a character, doesn't mean the character will get killed off.
Do you have any other reasoning behind killing the Joker?

I heavily doubt they would kill off the Joker.

Right. And I guess since Heath Ledger died, gives you another reason behind the thought of him dying as well. No, no one in the history of comics, villian or hero, has ever died; if they have, they came back. This isn't the end of Batman, so it's not the end of Joker.

I think you're overlooking Marvel's Ultimate universe AND Ben Parker (Spider-Man)

A non Mark Hamil Joker is not really "The Joker" as far as I'm concerned. So yes. The joker is permanently being killed as we know it. I certainly won't be taking interest in any other Joker related multimedia.

Mark Hamill also said Arkham Asylum was the last time he'd be doing Joker. You see how that went.

What do the events in a Batman Beyond movie have to do with Arkham Asylum?

There is totally an alternate universe where Ben Parker comes back/doesn't actually die.

Well it's not out of the question that he can't die, there has been quite a few Batman villians killed off but rest assured it won't be Batman killing him. If anyone would kill the Joker it would be one of the villians posssibly Jason Todd if he is in the game.

I don't think we'll see any villains die in game, least of all Joker.

Off the biggest Batman villain just because the voice actor is leaving? I don't see it happening.

I recommend you read the graphic novel. Otherwise, I can PM ya' the minor spoiler. I'd tell you here, but I don't want to ruin it for the folks that don't care for spoilers.

Joker shot (and some think raped) Batgirl and now she's paralyzed. That's the joke.

Anyway, I dunno why people are all "No they can't kill off Batman's biggest villain in the game!". It's a game, not the comic. They can do whatever they want and it doesn't matter at all.
