hey its another PC multi platform game delayed, what a shock. Especially since the SAME THING happened with Arkham Asylum. Warner Bros. is saying November (no actual day) for the PC version, so let's hope it doesnt get worse than that.

asylum with physx is by far the best version, so i dont think anyone will call rocksteady lazy devs. Like i said, the same happened with the first game, so this was (unfortunately) expected. Hopefully its just a few weeks delay

I really hope they release it on 11/11, so I have to choose whether to play Skyrim, MW3 or Arkham City!

PC gaming is superior

Pushing it into an ever busier month.. Ugh, well at least it means I have no choice but to not buy it now.

I'd take a delayed release date over a release that hasn't been given the polish or bug squashing it deserves first.

Don't mind, don't even know what platform i'm getting it on yet. All i know is that it doesn't bother me that i won't be playing it on release day.

if you mean the 2012 sale, sure. if you mean 2011, there is no way in hell a 1 month big game would be on sale by then

I don't mind delays one bit, to be honest.
If that means the game will run smoother and will have less bugs than most console to PC ports, then by all means, please do delay the PC release.

I love PC game delays. I enjoy Assassin's Creed every year in March when there's not much to play.. I'll enjoy Batman in November/December when the year's about to end.

But November you say? I can deal with that since there's a few games that I need to get around playing anyway and if means polishing things up a bit (unlikely given the state of preference for consoles by developers) then I don't mind. Also, yeah...who didn't see it coming?

I have Skyrim to play that month. I will probably get this on some steam sale instead.

I was debating whether I should buy it or not because of GfWL and this "delay" convinced me not to buy it. I bought the first one for 7.5 euro and I mean to do the same with the second.

When publishers do shit like this( I'm looking at you Ubisoft) they are telling me that they don't deserve my money. Also Skyrim, yo. No place for any other game that month.

Maybe the PC version will have every pre-order skin and it will completely skip all this stupid bullshit. That would be rad.

Its sucks for PC gamers like me, but they need to make money on consoles before that pirates share it with every one.

Well not buying this til Christmas now, already have my money down for Skyrim.

Makes sense. They probably want to spend the rest of their time before launch polishing the mass market versions. Don't worry PCers, it'll only make for a less-rushed port.

I'll let it slide if they make up for it by giving me all the costumes.

It really depends on the game. Some games are best played with a controller, especially ones that are developed with consoles in mind. If the game has proper controller support on the PC, then it is indeed the superior platform. Graphics and performance wise in general, PC gaming is superior. Everyone has their own preferences and how much they're willing to spend. So while PC gaming may be the best for you, it may not be for other people. There are many variables to take into account, so it's best to not have an elitist attitude and use whatever platform suits you best.

It'll come out around the same time as Skyrim.

If this is done so they can kick the GFWL (you're lucky if it works, and I have NEVER experienced a problem with PunkBuster) out in favor of anything but it or Ubisoft's "hope your ISP doesn't have a hiccup" fuck-the-customer DRM, then this is a good delay, I swear to koresh.

Why's that a big problem? After all, Arkham Asylum looks exactly the same on PC as it does on console so it's not a big deal since you can play it on something else, granted the PC does utilize higher resolutions though. I guess I can see a problem for those that only play PC gaming though.

between RAGE and BF3 coming out in october, i think i can wait a few weeks - easy!

Yeah that's unfortunate. I think I'll be too booked up to play Arkham City until the the mid 2012 lull.
