Man, waiting for the PC version to come out without getting exposed to spoilers is going to be hard.
Also, I know I've already said it but I really hope they have a CE of the game on PC. The game looks so badass.
I watched a 3 hour stream of it last night and saw many spoilers but yet it has not hindered me at all on still pre-ordering it off steam for 40$.

I would rather have it come out a month later than have to deal with any kind of issues on day 1. I can wait for them to make the finishing touches on it while making sure its optimized for PCs.
Then again, delays don't always mean anything.
There will be a ton of patches day 1 as I bet most of the pc disks are already printed and are awaiting shipping if not already there and are now just waiting to be put on the shelfs come the launch day for them.

I decided fuck it with waiting for the pc version so I'm getting both it and the 360 one now lol.
Good man, way to help the company stay alive.

So here's a small rant-y response that breaks off into tangents, you've been warned and know the proper internet procedure for reading or not reading.

@NekuSakuraba: It might be, I don't know...but I think its more plausible to delay and discourage piracy.
The people who are going to download the game for free will do so regardless of any sort of delay, they aren't so close to buying the game that a month delay would force them to buy and play it on a platform they may or may not actually have. The only thing I've ever seen that you can't get via piracy is 'some' DLC for some games, such as Dirt 3 (it's dlc doesn't exist on the net, going by how things are it never will be).
Right now I'm weighing whether to crack and play batman on my 360 or wait for the game on PC, as I really really enjoyed the first game on my pc. I actually played through and beat batman and 'then' bought it and played through it a second time, I really liked the game :) Piracy rarely satisfies my 'good consumer' need to 'own' things. I'm pretty sure though I'm buying Arkham City though, regardless of my money troubles right now, I already pre-ordered Skyrim so that cash is basically out of my head, kinda a nice thing sorta.. doesn't feel like I bought the game when it comes out cause the expense happened a while ago lol. My only gripe with the PC batman is that it's not on steam right now, launching another client or honestly.. just not having it in my list of games in steam is just kinda lame. Shortcuts don't really cut it, having my origin copy of dead space 2 and mass effect 2 as shortcuts in steam feels really shitty to me even though I actually think origin is a fine client etc.
On a side/semi related note things that are aimed at hindering piracy almost always just encourage it, DRM being a big reason for piracy of course.
From what i have seen on steam for City, There is GFWL which sucks but it also has a 3rd party DRM which means this thing will be a little harder to crack then others so piracy will take longer or be discouraged as this means lot of work cracking it. Or it will make people want to get it free more which i dont see the point in pirating a game like this since its so badass looking that I want to help the company by buying it and having them make more games like this. Maybe a spiderman or even a superman game that isnt COMPLETE SHIT! (superman 64)
