Hmm....How exactly is it going to help AA 2? I mean, guys from Rocksteady already have support from DC, right? So how is Warner Bros helping?

@CaptainObvious:
Well...Warner Bros. owns DC so this move doesn't surprise me.

The Animaniacs will be DLC in the next game.

Oh, that kind of help...

Anyways, I hope that Bane gets his revenge in AA 2. The first game didn't do him any justice, the guy is supposed to be a tactical genius. He figured out Bruce's identity and broken him after all!

I see a hipper, edgier Arkham Asylum, with strong brand awareness on the way.

I agree. We got the "Batman and Robin" Bane, which is upsetting on multiple levels. However, a sudden 180 degree turn for Bane would confuse newcomers, so I doubt he'll ever change within the Arkham Asylum series.

I also agree, but in the eyes of the mainstream, a big buff dood with crazy shit all over and big muscles translates to "professional wrestler", and in turn, I doubt Bane will ever be given true credit to his character.

It's always easier to work with generally accepted archetypes, especially when they're the bad guys.

On a related note, I found Batman: Arkham Asylum's boss fights to be somewhat lacking. I hope they make the boss fights themselves more interesting in the sequel.

Seems like a good buy, considering that alot of the voices from the game was from warner batman t.v shows characters.

“Going forward, we hope to have them work on other Warner Bros. intellectual properties. We have been looking to increase our development capacity and, as a high quality development studio, Rocksteady is a great fit for that strategy. The acquisition of a majority stake in this leading games developer continues Warner Bros.’ pattern as one of the industry’s fastest growing games publishers.”

Warner Bros Entertainment UK president Josh Berger
