In Batman Vengeance, crime escalates in Gotham City as Batman finds himself the target of a conspiracy. After the Joker plummets to his death in an attempt to kill Batman, Gotham's criminals quickly escalate their schemes to gain power. Batman discovers subtle links in these seemingly unrelated crimes, but is forced undercover after being framed for an attack on Commissioner Gordon. Hunted by the police, the Dark Knight must discover who is behind these mysteries before Gotham City is destroyed.
This game largely consists of a mix of different play styles. Batman can use his basic melee attacks to get in punches and kicks. These seems to be a small combat system in place and some uppercuts can be performed as well. The melee combat is very simple though. You also get an assortment of different gadgets that are very helpful in certain situations. There is also the option to play the game in a first person perspective. This makes the game's throwing actions to be much more accurate. There are also vehicle gameplay like riding the Batmobile through the city or chasing another aircraft in the Batplane and trying to shoot it down. There are also various scripted areas like trying to catch a free-falling body while avoiding hitting any obstacles on the way down. The game also contains plenty of puzzles. One is when you have to "hack" a computer terminal by matching different colored wires around a cube. There are also stealth elements mixed into the game where you will have to sneak around to either avoid enemies or to "hug the wall" to avoid activating a trap or getting attacked. All of these different gameplay elements make the game very fun and keeps the pacing high. It also makes the game seem less repetitive.

Overview
In Batman Vengeance, crime escalates in Gotham City as Batman finds himself the target of a conspiracy. After the Joker plummets to his death in an attempt to kill Batman, Gotham's criminals quickly escalate their schemes to gain power. Batman discovers subtle links in these seemingly unrelated crimes, but is forced undercover after being framed for an attack on Commissioner Gordon. Hunted by the police, the Dark Knight must discover who is behind these mysteries before Gotham City is destroyed.
Presented in a more stylized golden age comic book appearance that communicates attitude and personality through spartan artwork, Batman engages in a variety of different gameplay modes (e.g. traditional third-person platforming and vehicle-based gameplay) in his pursuit to rid Gotham City of its most notorious criminals.

Graphics
The game had great character models for it's time. It has also had a really high polygon count. Batman's cape moved very fluidly and realistically. The reason for this is that for the first time, Batman's cape had it's own artificial intelligence and that made the cape look and move realistically. Although very rarely, a glitch would make it look awkward but these moments were rare. The game did not have very detailed textures. Many models in the game looked smooth or had flat looking textures. The game did move at 60 FPS though and this made the animations seem fluid. The characters did seem to be stiff in some situations even in some cutscenes.| Game Name | Batman: Vengeance |
