Real-Life Replica of Batman Arkham Asylum/City Suit Created!

#1 Posted by Hamz (6846 posts) -

Just checked my RSS feed and came across this amazing article. It seems some creative folks, and Batman fans it seems, have created a really amazing replica Batsuit following the design seen in the Batman: Arkham Asylum/City games. Some amazing attention to detail has gone on here when you take a look at the actual textures on the replica and those on the in-game model they match up almost perfectly. I've said it before but I've always felt the Batsuit design found in the Arkham games (is that a good collective phrase for both these games, 'Arkham Games'?) is the best there has ever been. It captures The Animated Series look while displaying a realist touch that you could imagine appearing in Nolan's universe. Not to mention it obviously translates well into the actual comics themselves.

Hamz, I thought you were Ryan Davis when I saw your avatar. Ha. I have been deceived! Anyway, that's awesome. Now I just need to use my Batman skills to steal me one of those.

Is that Bruce Campbell in the third pic?

I always thought the ears were too long on the Arkham suit, but other than that it looks great.

@obcdexter: I'm not sure, maybe? Would be cool if it was! :)

@TheGreatGuero: I feel like I've disappointed you now. I imagine you were all like "Fuck yeah Ryan Davis!...oh wait...it's just Hamz...how disappointing...."

@Slaker117: The reason I like his cowl to have long ears is that it distinguishes him a bit more from other cowl-wearing-characters such as Red Robin, Catman, Owlman and so forth.

@Slaker117: I always sorta liked the long ears from an artistic point of view. But as for their functionality... Well its a good thing the vents around gotham are of a generous size.

@Hamz: Naw. It was more like "Oh my God, this Ryan Davis post has 0 comments??? Ohh, it's just Hamz. No wonder." :D

They got Angry Videogame Nerd to dawn the suit I guess. He's doing a spoton Bale impression, looks like a complete jackass.

If only the douche in the pic didn't open his mouth... then i'd believe he is the Batman.

I'd like to see the Frank Miller bat suit. Unstoppable.

Now if only they could have gotten someone with Batman's physique to wear that suit. If they did, then I could say that I BLEW MY NITRO, WAY TOO EARLY.
