So, i've heard this game will support 24 player matches...  does that include the 360 and ps3 versions, or is that just on PC? anybody know?

Judging from the trailer, and this is just an assumption, I get the impression maps won't be super huge so 24 players sounds like a nice even number on relatively small maps.

besides, this is especially awesome for console gamers, because most retail games only have 16-player combat.

Man i am so tired of playing Pacific Theatre games from an American perspective,it's like the worst kind of WW2 game ever.Also,I'm pretty sure this is just a small thing to tide people over until the real Battlefield 3 comes out,which will undoubtedly be a PC exclusive and awesome,just like 1942 and Battlefield 2.Also,24 players?That sounds kinda boring,it's called Battlefield,not Battle laden area on an island.Battlefield is suppose ti be about large-scale battles,in which the only way to really make a difference in the battle is to work with your team.

Oh man I hope this game goes back to the Battlefield 2 which I loved so much. I haven't played a good PC shooter in far too long.

I like the timing, well wish it was coming sooner, I was playing CoD4 on 360 and just wondering why EA had never taken a step back and put something like a proper battlefield on the consoles. by proper I mean one thats all about the multiplayer.

I'm actually excited for this game. I watched some gameplay videos on the tube and it looks cool.

It'll be 24 players for both consoles just like BC was, and I'm sure BC 2 will be the same. Will be as many as anyone wants on the PC.

64 players is battlefield

I kinda want 64 players too but consoles arent so great at handeling that so i guess this is best. Looks good though, 24 isnt a bad number at all and the maps ive seen seem well sized.angelkanarias said:
