im here to ask you: im i wrong to think that this game is unique as HELL for having HELICOPTERS, BOMBERS, FIGHTERS, TANKS, OPEN SPACE FOR ALL THE AIRCRAFT, HILLS AND TREES AND ROCKS FOR SNIPERS TO ENJOY, AMAZING GUNFIGHTS AND APCs ON THE GROUND OVER FLAGS AND CONTROL POINTS ?

sorry for the caps but this game has all that on mutliplayer its an actual modern war with military vehicles and serious aircraft, parachuting down and gunning and diving and booby trapping bridges and and and..... is all that wonder not so unique ??? if not, can you name some multiplayer games that HAVE ALL THAT?

and if it is one of a kind, WHY IS IT SO NEGLECTED?? (i believe im talking about version 1.0 which has mods which are what's super cool about this game.. the new patches are realistic and modless!!! BF2 = MODS !)

EDIT: maybe now that 1943 is out, its got the attention, but until it was released ..................

My dad actually plays Battlefield 2.

The game is really good, especially for something roughly 4 years old.

yeah i play version 1.0 and hundreds of people but none of the 'hardcore' gamers on websites like this one seem to care about it and im wondering why! its fucking amazing !

It's a great game but there's really nothing to say anymore as there's basically nothing new coming out for it.

i want people to acknowledge how amazingly explosive it is, and if they do realize that i dont see why they dont play it.. if they do play it then it should be talked about as a great game that they play, not as a "game that has something new coming out for it"

what? tones of people played BF2 before BF1943 came out. I bought BF2 back in 2007 and played it for about a year until I moved on to Team Fortress 2.

Also, BF2142 was basically a mod for BF2.

BF2 was regarded as the best PC shooter by TONS when it first came out. Probably the reason it is still not regarded as that is because a large amount of PC's couldn't run the game at the time and when the technology to do so came around to being pretty cheap, the game already flew by people's heads because 1. They were afraid that they will be obliterated by skilled players 2. Battlefield 2142 was already out. 3. The game was just way too in depth for their want in shooters. 4. Still won't get off of Counter Strike's dick.
