I love, love the direction they're going with the soundtrack. It's a huge departure from the traditional orchestral stuff they've been doing since forever and it's nice to hear not all just BZZZT and BFFFMZMZMMZT

i like it when it plays this song and maybe the dark theme? if your almost winning or losing. its always a aww yeah moment for me. especially if your cruising with like 2 full squads of your friends!

Sounded a little on the weak side.

I love Battlefields music. Same theme played everytime, but changed to fit the age of the title.

sounds exactly like the traditional orchestral music, but with synths instead. what a twist!

Needs more dubstep.

The video in the OP is actually (as far as I can tell) an entirely different song than the one they've been using at the end of the trailers. The one in the trailers would be the "Dark Theme" which is only 30 seconds in length, rather than a minute fifty.

This is my favorite version of the Battlefield theme, skip to around 0:50 if your impatient.

My favourite is the 1943 theme, simple and classic.

Everything is better than that synth BS. Should have just made it all the way dubstep to annoy even more people.

They used this one in the Caspian Border trailer.

Thunder run was used in the thunder run trailer (obviously).

Fire from the Sky was used in the frostbite features trailer.

Tremors was used in the 'Bad part of town videos'

EDIT: after typing all of that out I'm not sure about all of them.

17-21 seconds. OMG. Every fucking time that would play on the Caspian Border trailer I would turn my speakers up because it sounded so fucking good.

It's good, but I did get a kinda "Fan Made" vibe from it, rather than a proper theme.

I agree with the guys saying Battlefield 2 and Bad Company had the best versions of the theme, honestly. I like the Terminator-esque little quips at the end of the trailers, but for the theme itself nothing beats a full booming orchestra.

It doesn't make me crank up my speakers like the BF2 theme does. That shit sounds legitimately epic.

The only real Battlefield theme ( yes i might have played to much trackmania i am not sure)

My perfect Battlefield theme would be if Hans Zimmer and Skrillex teamed up. Alas, this will have to do.

I have to go with the original theme from BF2. Don't be alarmed by the misleading thumbnail, the first part is the BF2 theme.

I'm going to have to go with the theme for 1943. Too bad it never came out on the PC, but I still played the hell out of it on my 360.

I was surprised by the direction DICE were going as I was listening to the samples. I really like it. Though, I wonder if we'll be hearing a lot more wobble bass and the like in future video games.
