I don't really care about Commo Rose, though it's good that their either listening to fans or we're just dumb and didn't consider it was always there just not in the Alpha, but that trailer looked fucking sweet. I wants. I wants bad.

Nothing worse than Assaults who don't drop ammo. When you use the Commo Rose they have no excuse not to drop ammo, or repair my tank, or move out, etc. Basically its allows us to keep track of who the shit heads are who don't play the game correctly, while offering a more robust way of using teamwork to those who do.

When you use the Commo Rose they have no excuse not to drop ammo, or repair my tank, or move out, etc. Basically its allows us to keep track of who the shit heads are who don't play the game correctly, while offering a more robust way of using teamwork to those who do.

I swear someone confirmed this in a thread a while back. Some savvy person went digging through alpha files and found several regarding the commo rose specifically. In fact it may have also been the one that mentioned the multiplayer map selection. Regardless, it's still nice to have official confirmation because let's be real here, I love me some commo rose.

Commo rose in BF2 was awesome.  Yeah it can get abused but no more so than lots of other things IMO.

Hopefully they don't let you spam the voice commands though, those were so annoying in BF2, at least give me a way to mute them.

I doubt it. The more I think about it the less grudge I hold against the 3D spotting.

We know they're going to look at the 3d spotting, they tweeted as much. Probably more like a tweak than removal though.

UAV over-flight could provide you with such detailed positions.. just plain spotting someone though, in relaying that position verbally, the game should allow some inaccuracies if only for the value of hiding at all.
