These same specs have been circulating for months.. they're not official, therefore no one believes them. They're pretty much a joke on the official forums

We even have a thread on Giant Bomb with 3K views and 180 posts listing the same specs, and they're fucking wrong!

Essentially, DICE is still deep in the optimization process and deciding/implementing what things that they can tweak to run the game sufficiently on lower end computers. They're not done with those tasks yet, so they can't put a stamp on it. In all actuality, DICE wants more people to play this, so they want it to run as good as possible on the lower end computers as they can.

Here's the thing though. I'm in the last stages of ordering components for a new computer I'm building. Graphics card being one of them. Do you think a 570 or like a 6970 would run it at least well enough to look pretty?

The reason why i believe this specs is Gamestop.

Also yes dice are still working hard on the game but developers usually set a goal for what that it needs to run properly so why not?

@Matthew: I would wait for price drops myself. I'm going to buy another card and run dual 570s(most likely. I reserve the right to do something completely impulsive later) when this game comes out. However the footage that we have seen thus far was from a machine running a 580.

Oh, sweet. So they've come out and said this? But hasn't all the footage been pre-alpha also? So maybe a 590........

There was this articlethat I read a while back and some other people that were able to look in some of the cases at some events where the game was being demoed.

All I know is that I will turn shit down to make it run at 60FPS, who knows maybe I don't know if I have to turn anything down, but I don't want to be a bitch and exclaim in a Forum that my monster rig will have no trouble with it and that I am way above the rec specs.  Yes I said it, people that do that are punk asses.

I'm a tad bit above recommended speccs. Should run this bad boy with a few little sacrifices at 60 FPS. Looking forward to it so much.

These are obviously fake but why on earth would a digital version be smaller than a disc version? You will get exactly the same assets in both versions. Makes absolutely no sense, whoever came up with those is an idiot.

Actually it totally makes sense but i totally forgot why o_O
The only explanation i could think of right now is that the DLC is on the disc, but EA said it wasn't
