In order for us to enjoy this behemoth of an FPS the way we should, run in large numbers together bombing the shit out of each other and shooting one another in the face, we should have our own Giant Bomb servers for it!
And so I'm happy to announce that I'll be renting the UK server for us (64 players), with the help of generous and dedicated giant bombers such as Branthog, Rolyatkcinmai, Liber, Roughneck117 among others.
Rolyatkcinmai offered to rent the US server and pay a significant amount of the price, but we should all chip in and help him reach the goal price, as a thank you for his great initiative. Will Smith confirmed that Giant Bomb is going to use this server for the Battlefield 3 TNTs!
I personally refuse to run this on the pockets of 10 generous people, so let's all chip in and help each other out.
Note We're going for a 3 month rental in advance (not one month), in order to spare everyone the trouble of donating every month, and a single 3-month rental for a server costs 59$. That's 59$ x 3 months = ~175$ for the US server, and the same for the UK server.
