Although, you should consider that the meaning of the word 'BETA' has changed somewhat over the years. People of a younger generation probably think that it is a demo of a finished product.

It's alright dude. I get what you were trying to say even if you had forgotten that anyone, regardless of taste, has a right to choose what kind of game they want to purchase or avoid, even if the reasoning might be nonsensical or irrational.

Also yes, everyone rages on the internet or at it at least once, whether they actually post it out there or not.

Its not like I am actually yelling at these people. Anyone at any job will get mad with with the job at one point or another. Its work, it gets frustrating sometimes, That doesn't mean I am harrasing the customers.

The Xbox 360 beta was pretty bad. There were sinkholes everywhere, even one RIGHT beside the first A point in Op.Metro, where defenders would sink down into and make it impossible for the attackers to win. Also lots of lag/joining server issues/infinite load times

The PC version was surpingly more stable. 2 things:

A - People are allowed to cancel preorders before the game's release. Don't be a dick about it or you might lose customers. It's not Gamestops fault if people wanna cancel preorders, it's EA's.

B - If people get fired from Gamestop because of the preorder cancellations, then I feel sorry for them. Completly out of their hands (for the most part).

Yeah, making purchasing decisions based on things that are clearly the result of buggy beta code is dumb, I agree. However, I'm sure that some people went into that beta wanting to find a reskinned Call of Duty anyway. It sucks that your job security is based on something as potentially insecure as people's preorders.

Pre-Alpha?....Yeah right....Dice would never release something that old to the public, they're just trying to cover themselves up by calling it a pre-alpha. (I have BF3 pre-ordered from Amazon BTW)

I really want to know where you live that doesn't have a Gamestop with terrible employees. I live in Washington state, and the one I go to has three terrible employees who all do exactly the type of shit this guy does.

The GameStop that I shop at has some really good employees. The manager has bent over backwards to help get me a couple of games that weren't in their store.

This is exactly why a lot of companies have gone off the idea of public beta's. People nowadays don't seem to understand the term, and instead just think of beta's as demo's.

We don't need fools who cancel their pre-order because of some bugs during a beta on the battlefield anyway.

Or simply because of Origin.

Servers will be less crowded with morons.

People who know and love Battlefield know what they are getting into...

It could be worse. You could have paid for the beta like you did with Black Ops and have to deal with them fixing major problems for the first month. I am on 14th prestige on that game so don't think I am hating just pointing out that you can either have problems fixed before or after the release and I will take before.

You know when people want to cancel their preorders, it's not your job to stop them. Let them do what they want, being harassed for not wanting it anymore is really annoying.
