Yes. I bought into Battlefield Premium already. 22%
Yes, but I'm waiting for the first paid expansion to drop first. 32%
Yes. I'll just be getting the GotY version of BF4 in a year or so, like the smart patient person I am. 15%
No. I'm not that into Battlefield. 10%
No. DLC is the devil and I never buy into it. 5%
I don't own BF4, nor do I plan to own it. Show results. 15%

I figured I'll get Premium once I upgrade my PS3 purchase into the PS4 version, but then I found out the Premium Season Pass carries over too - so why wait? It also helps that I love the game thus far. It's everything BF3 aspired to be, and it all seems to jell so much better. Still not quite the direction I hoped for personally, but definitely the ultimate Battlefield experience to date. Good stuff.

Are you going Premium too, or not?

I don't have the base game yet, but when I do get it, I'm buying Premium at the same time. Gotta get those bonuses, son.

I definitely will. All of the BF3 map packs were kind of awesome, so I'll be happy to keep adding content to BF4 over the next year.

Maybe? Depends on whether any of the expansions (China rising excluded since I have that free) seem worth the investment. It's pretty damn expensive

Probably will wait for them to do sales down the line on PC, but if I end up liking BF 4 enough, maybe will just go all in. My graphics card is busted right now so have some time to think it over.

First I will need a new hard drive (most likely an SSD) to actually load the maps up in a suitable speed so that factors in as well. Il hopefully pick this up early next year for pc

I'm sort of considering getting this game for the PS4. I haven't played a modern military FPS since Bad Company 2. Would it be smart of me to just jump on the Premium as soon as I get it?

Also I hope the next Battlefield is 2143. Maybe Titanfall will make that happen.

I got the BF3 premium edition for 20$ a year after its release with the last 2 of the 5 DLCs that had yet to launch. If i ever buy into BF4 that's what i'll do again.

I started playing BF3 again and finally unlocked all the guns but most servers seem to run vanilla maps so I am not sure yet.

Probably not considering 3/5 expansion packs from BF3 were absolute garbage. If I'm proven otherwise, I'll pick up Premium down the line.

There really is no point in getting it right away. In my case, I never end up using the "extra features" besides being able to play the DLC's early and double XP.

These season pass's go on sale all the time. Trust me, this will be on sale at green man gaming right before the first expansion drops.

I'll buy it when it comes out on PS4. For me, it was well worth the cash in BF3.

Premium is still $50. With Bf3, I did the buy as you go plan. I knew there was no way I was going to want all the DLCs from the get go and it sounded like a huge scam because they didn't really tell you what they were going to add in the future. Good thing for me since I didn't care for large scale vehicle battles.

All the maps in Battlefield 4 that I've played/spectated have all been pretty great and varied. I hope the map packs are all going to be as good.

I grabbed it already. Had $50 of credit leftover on my Xbox account, so I figured why not. I know I'm going to want it eventually.

I might get it when the first expansion drops, we'll see. Right now I feel fine without it. Also I have no idea how long I will play this for.

Well I'd be more interested in it had the game actually worked properly. Between the server crashes, game crashes, and the memory leak issue that all of us lovely AMD 6000 series GPU users are having a blast with that makes it so you have to restart your whole system. I'd say im about 50/50 on that premium right now =).

If I buy it now, do I get anything now? Or is it just a pre order for things to come later?

Its gotta be a better value than what CoD Ghosts' Season pass is going to be.

If I buy it now, do I get anything now? Or is it just a pre order for things to come later?

Most of it is stuff that comes out later, its like a season pass really.

I wasn't planning on it especially with how rocky the MP launch was but since Saturday it's improved 100% for me so I relented this morning in a hungover haze.

As much as a I loved BF3 I didn't invest much time in the final two expansions. The last one especially. The discount is the equivalent of getting one expansion for free (if I recall correctly) ... so I may go one at a time this time.

I think I'll go one at a time depending on how many of the people I play with get the expansion. After they all got BF3 Premium (I skipped BF3 entirely) they all seem pretty salty on the idea of doing it again though.

I'm getting Call Of Duty Ghosts for 360 (Hardened Edition/Season Pass) so I might not get Battlefield 4 right away. I have heard mixed feelings about the performance of Battlefield 4 on 360 but I think people will be more critical of these versions because they have seen what the next gen versions are offering. Because of that, the faults of PS3/360 version are more noticeable. I am not upgrading my console this year so I am happy to play these games on my current system even if the textures and performance is not the best.

Just by the fact I'll most likely be playing the multiplayer for a while at the new console's launch, probably yes.
