Now that china rising is finally released for non premium members it appears that if you have upgraded from ps3/360 to ps4/bone then the china rising pre order dlc will not transfer.

This is not a bug, this is intended behaviour. The dlc will show free on last gen but £12.79 on current gen. The EA rep I spoke to told me this was correct and I should purchase premium because it's better value.

Do EA always scam their customers like this?

Yeah I just read about this on Game Informer. That's total B.S. Apparently they were giving out codes in customer support but they just changed their policy to not allow this anymore.

EA should be giving EVERYONE the first DLC free. (I know first run copies get it but not everyone has those)
