So, Battlefield 3 is going to come out on October 25th, right? That's roughly 4 months from now. My problem is, should I re-buy Bad Company 2 (sold it for Black Ops, worst decision ever) or just wait for Battlefield 3 to come out?
(I'm kind of new to the forums so if this is in the wrong section, don't troll me and just tell me politely)
Battlefield: Bad Company 2
Game » consists of 26 releases. Released Mar 02, 2010
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is the second installment in this spin-off Battlefield series. It has a more serious campaign and a vastly expanded multiplayer system.
I got a dilemma....
That's really up to you. Do you plan on playing BC2? Do you have any other games in your backlog that can ease the wait till BF3? If you're playing on PC, you can get BC2 for about #10 online. It won't break your budget, you'll be able to get BF3. If I were you, I'd try to play other genres, so I won't feel burned out of the franchise when BF3 comes out.
On the other hand, I find Bad Company 2 extremely boring. It just doesn't suit me. MW2's Counter-Strike-style multiplayer is more down my alley, but it still I barely touch it from time to time. Don't take my word as a reliable opinion.
If you can get it for cheap, sure. BFBC2's servers are still pretty active, so you don't have to worry about it being a graveyard. It's also still a great game, and 4 months is quite a long while. So, sure, I'd advise you to get it. Although I would also advise you to get it under $30 if possible.
Damn, you nailed the answer thereThat's really up to you. Do you plan on playing BC2? Do you have any other games in your backlog that can ease the wait till BF3? I would advise that you skip the mess that is Bad Company 2 and have a fresh go at competitive Battlefield with Battlefield 3

Oh, man! You look so cool trying to make me look like a fool using an intentionally misspelled word! Both MW2 and CS have small maps, small teams, fast-paced action. Battlefield has a much bigger scale in everything, a much more tactical approach. That "wat". Thank you very much.
Who the fuck sells BC2 for BLOPS!? (Well, I can actually see why. I wanted it to be good also.)
I'd say buy BC2. My guess is you could get it pretty darn cheap from most placed. Just sitting here and waiting is going to be terrible, there are still months left until BF3 is released.
No need to get defensive bro. I just meant that, sure they're both small in scale, but aside from the fact that you use guns to shoot people, that's about where the similarities end.@Three0neFive said:

Thanks for the input guys! Unfortunately, my PC is pretty much a piece of poop... so I can't buy pretty much any game on PC. But I think I'll wait for BF3 to come out, like Ahmad_Metallic said, I would like a fresh experience out of BF3 and I pretty much am ready since I already played BFBC2 for like 6 months...
But lesson learned, I'll never sell a game again. Unless it's like 2-3 years old or something...
