Hell yes, I prefer it to Battlefield 3 by a whole lot.

I personally had a much better experience with Bc2 than I did with bf3. The maps in Bc2 are much much better and it feels a lot more polished overall. The gunplay doesn't feel as tight but it's still solid

BF3 seems superior to BC2 in every way on PC.

pretty bored of BF3 as well. Really don't like almost all the maps.

I actually never bought this game. I think I rented it way back and liked it a lot but never got around to picking it up. Does anyone still play the Vietnam DLC? I was reading that it was pretty much dead on PSN at least; looks like fun tho but no point if no one plays it.

@handlas: Vietnam is dead on the 360 version as well. The last couple of times I was on there one time I couldn't find anybody and another there were a couple people riding around on a boat.

@sopranosfan: That's a shame. Did it just suck or was it too laggy/buggy? Reason I even bring it up is cuz I was watching an old TNT that I never saw of them playing it and it was super choppy with lag.

Eh I guess I don't need another shooter anyway. Thanks for letting me know. I bought a DLC pack for Resistance 3 today out of boredom that isn't old at all and not a single person playing it. What waste of money.

@handlas: I didn't notice any more noticeable lag and it definitely didn't suck but I just enjoyed BC2 maps and weapons more and that is probably the way most people felt so they kept going back to the regular BC2 maps. I may have just hit it at a bad time or the servers with people on them may have been full but I didn't have a good experience trying to play on it.

Hell yes. It's a fantastic game. Both single player and multiplayer.

For $5? I'd say so. I never got into multiplayer (I've since moved on to BF3 for the PC), but the campaign is still damn fun. And besides, the characters, even though they never evolve past rough caricatures, actually have some goddamn personality. Which is more than I can say for many military-inspired FPSes I've played recently.

well i went ahead and bought it on 360. Seems pretty active still. And man, I love this game....much prefer the feel of it to BF3. I have BF3 on PS3 and one thing that is atrocious on it is the framerate. Quite a difference going back to this game.

Also, the Vietnam DLC was free for me. I didn't know that. So...well at least I got it if anyone ever plays it again.

For the common price, absolutely. I played it, oh, six months ago when I bought a PS3 and thoroughly enjoyed it.

And you can still find multiplayer games.
