Well, after trying to rely on the good graces of random people I meet in matches I'm now coming to the Giant Bomb community. I'm looking for a nice individual to give me a hand picking up the "Et Tu Brute?" achievement. Just need you to friend me and then get into a match on opposite sides so I can stab you five times. I'll even let you do it to me so you can get the achievement if you don't already have it.
 
Also, yes I know I have an Achievement addiction. It's not a problem until i admit it is. :P

Yeah, looking through the various threads asking for help they all appear to be on PS3. I can probably get one of the guys at work to borrow the game and help me get it but I can't do that till next week at the earliest since I'm on vacation. This compounded by my notorious lack of patience doesn't bode well to me getting this and "Demolition Man". Man do these two achievements suck.

How exactly does one get on the opposite side in the same match?

Trick is to join a match together in a party. Then you pick a person on the other team and send them a friend request. Regardless of if they respond this will allow you to join a game they are playing. This should remove you from your team and reinsert you on their team. Then your friend and you just have to find one another and get to stabbing.
 
I just managed to get "Demolition Man" after about a day of work so "Et tu Brute?" is the only real thing standing between me and an S-Rank. Still no kind souls that are willing to let me stab them a few times for some points?

Hahaha! Oh wow! That's a great achievement...

I suppose the premise is that you get a bunch of friends who have Bad Company 2, join the game as a party, and some of you will end up on the other team. However, people like me who don't know anyone who really likes FPS games is kind of SOL. This is a case of the achievement sounding great in a meeting somewhere but doesn't work so great in practice. Just like many many multiplayer achievements.

I still need this and demolition, I doubt I'll get demolition but I'd like to get et tu brute.

Many many thanks to Damien for helping me to finally get this achievement. Although we had much trouble actually finding one another on the battlefield it went off without much problem. So, again many thanks.

This defeats the whole purpose of ACHIEVING an achievement.

I think we're going through a lot of effort to achieve this particular achievement. I honestly can't think of a way that this would happen naturally unless you just try to add every person on the other team and running around stabbing fools.

If Mics are used, It'd be easy to meet up somewhere, 2 people on each team meet up with a medic each, when someone gets stabbed the medic revives. 4 people could get the achievement within a few minutes

Ya if you can get two friends on the opposite team just let one of them sit there as a spawn point...only takes a minute.
 
I'll help you with this...if we get enough we can get into a private match. I need 2 more demo kills for Demo Man...the rest were legit but the last 2 kills are driving me insane.

So when is this happening?
