"The Bomb Squad" Giant Bomb Community Clan (PS3)

AKA "Duder Company" or "Giant Bomb Squad"
Alright gents, JohnAsscream has selected me to be the head of the PS3 wing of Giant Bomb's community clan. All information regarding bombing runs in the future and membership will now be in this thread. The Clan Tag will be [GBS] (Giant Bomb Squad), so if you haven't put it in you may want to do that. Headsets are optional, but if you own a pair, feel free to use them.

First order of business is to decide which of the three mentioned names will be our official name; they are "Duder Company", "Giant Bomb Squad" or simply "The Bomb Squad". Post which name you want and it will be decided by majority rules. (Note this has no bearing in-game it is simply to decide how we should refer to ourselves on the forums)

Attention: Bombing Runs are set for every Saturday at 8:30pm EDT

The tentative dates are Saturdays at 8:30pm EDT. I will try to set up a private match, if the game is full you can play with others "locked out" as squads in the public games. The bombing run will go on for as long as people want it to go on. If you are late and there are still spots available select me in the friends menu and join match, if there are spots there you should be able to join. If you are planning on joining in the bombing run, please post saying so. Check back here for any updates.

Here is a list of all members post your PSN I'll add you to the list. It is important that everyone add me (PSN: FrankCanada97) to their friends list as it would be easier for me to organize and prepare bombing runs. Add each other to your PSN friends list, when you do that say you're from Giant Bomb.

I think having a "the" there is unavoidable. but I think when speaking people will just say bomb squad anyway.. It's just how it sounds.
@JohnAsscream: Duder company is all well and fine, but Bomb squad is the first thing that comes to mind. But Majority rules right?

Quick question for PS3 users: How many characters are available to put in the clan tag space? On PC it's eight, which makes GBSquad fit with one remaining character.

Also, I need to give a shotout to SilentCommando. We played a few rounds together last night, not even using our Mics and we cleaned the fuck up! Hooray for tanks!

I like Duder Company. Bomb Squad is a little generic and Duder Company is a good reference to the site.

Almost 4:30am here so I'm calling it a night, the war can continue tomorrow!....although I may be stroking my Lombax, we'll see.

Big thanks to FrankCanada97 for organising this evening's gaming entertainment and a kudos for being (I think) the first Giant Bomb user to kill me in BFBC2!....be proud :P

Also it was great to see such a turn out, half expected two or three people to show, but there was far more people than that and I had a blast. Hopefully we can do it again sometime :)

Myself and Snipzorz are looking for a couple of players that we can play with regularly in our squad. We play 3 or 4 nights a week, for a two or three hours.

He's a recon (He uses a shotgun and mortar strike, so he's actually useful). I switch off between Medic and Engineer. We're preferably looking for a Medic and an Assault, to really round us out. Anyone who is interested should toss me a PM.

We're both really casual about it, no rage-nauting or anything, just looking for a couple guys to join our usual 2-man squad.

@Mmmslash: I generally play Assault, but 1. I just started .. so don't have a bunch of stuff unlocked and 2. I'm pretty tied up with work .. so I only get an hour or so .. every few days in a week. But send me a friend request. I'd be happy to join you if I see you online sometimes. PSN: Venom2112
