Like, I'm really impressed. Not only did they completely remove the lag, but it seems much more stable and glitch free than the first few months the game was out. I'm glad they pulled through.
Battlefield: Bad Company 2
Game » consists of 26 releases. Released Mar 02, 2010
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is the second installment in this spin-off Battlefield series. It has a more serious campaign and a vastly expanded multiplayer system.
The new update has made this game play flawlessly
Yes, kudos to DICE for sticking with it until a solution was in place. However, I wish they could have worked faster as several of the people I played with before the lag set in gave up and sold their copies before it was fixed.
" @RsistncE said:I run it perfectly on highest settings (DX9 since I use XP) with a Q6600 @ stock, 2 GB of DDR2 ram, and a 9800GX2." I'm glad I bought the PC version since it's been working perfectly almost since day one. "Have we been playing the same game? The PC version was the most un-optimized piece of software I've played in a long time. "

I run it at 30-40 FPS on all high (DX 10) Core i5 overclocked to 3.6ghz,4 gb of 2000mhz DDR3 ram and a GTX 260 (core 216)
Actually, the PS3 version was suffering from serious lag before the latest patch. If you played the game before that, you must've been lucky to find a lag free server... i even quit certain games because of the ammount of lag. Works fine now though! I have noticed my stats are not updated after every game, which sucks!
You guys are a bunch of liars. My performance is worse than it was before I upgraded my PC a week ago.
" @RsistncE said:What? It runs perfectly. It's very well optimized. It was however nearly unplayable at launch with all the server browser issues." I really love how they are continuing to update this game after its release. I especially love how they are giving constant map pack add-ons and extra content for the VIP people. i know it's just making certain maps available for other game modes, but it really makes the multiplayer better every time they do it.
I agree with some people on the forums here... My PC version of the game was not smooth at all. After the update, I messed around with my settings and even though the gameplay performance has improved a bit, it does not run as smooth as many of my other PC games. I've played the PS3 and XBOX360 version and you can def tell that DICE was more concerned about those two versions. Yet, I do admit that I had a lot of fun with the game on many occasions.
