Like, I'm really impressed. Not only did they completely remove the lag, but it seems much more stable and glitch free than the first few months the game was out. I'm glad they pulled through.

Yes, kudos to DICE for sticking with it until a solution was in place.  However, I wish they could have worked faster as several of the people I played with before the lag set in gave up and sold their copies before it was fixed.

It is, but im kinda upset I spent all that time unlocking stuff while the game was still really janky. I don't have much motivation to play now without that carrot on a stick, I'd rather go play a game with less frustration.

I run it perfectly on highest settings (DX9 since I use XP) with a Q6600 @ stock, 2 GB of DDR2 ram, and a 9800GX2. "

Well,I eat my words. After DLing the patch,my average FPS (on all high 16xAF 16xAA) doubled from about 40 to 80-90

it ussually didn't lag that much on the 360, but the gunplay is much much smoother
the ak74u used to miss all the time but now its really smooth and i got back into it

Yeah. the multiplayer runs really smooth... even on my super-sketchy internet connection.

at least BBC2 got patched when we are still waiting MW2 to get patched

PC version is running super smooth.

well i actually sold my copy a month ago. i was tired of waiting. it got sooo bad.

Weird, I actually got a drop in framerate after the patch. 

I haven't played this for a while, glad to see they fixed the lag because it was unplayable for me most of the time. Are there new maps available ?

You guys are a bunch of liars. My performance is worse than it was before I upgraded my PC a week ago.

I really love how they are continuing to update this game after its release. I especially love how they are giving constant map pack add-ons and extra content for the VIP people. i know it's just making certain maps available for other game modes, but it really makes the multiplayer better every time they do it.

I gotta get back to this game. I randomly stopped playing it after 15 hours.

Start playing in DX9 instead of DX10. There's practically no visual difference and a massive framerate increase. In your settings.ini change auto to 9.

So would now be a good time to pick it up?
