I'm trying to gauge the interest level for a GB community tournament, similar to what they are doing for Starcraft II.

For obvious reasons the tournament will take place after the release of Map Pack 7, or the Vietnam expansion.

The structure would depend on how many participants there are, but we will most likely base it around Squad Rush (teams of four).

Also, I can confirm that there will be prizes!

So if you are interested in doing something like this next month, please just post here saying so.

Id be interested but the following things are a factor. 
 
I have it on PC. 
I kind of suck at the game ( although I find it enjoyable) 
I'm probably not the best teamate to have around ( i don't TK, just slow down)

Once I get the game back which hopefully will be at the start of Dec I am interested big time.  PS3 for me.

If you want to schedule it after Christmas than yes! Because that's when I'm finally getting a new 360 to replace my broken one.

If it were on 360, I guarantee that me and my three buddies would roll four deep and annihilate any tournament.  That's not bragging - that's a fact. 
 
As for PC, I refuse to play an inferior version of the game.  If it was straight-up Battlefield 2, it'd be a different story.

Due to the cross-platform of BC2, we will have to pick a platform for the first tournament.

xbox 360

I am leaning towards the Xbox 360, as that is the platform I can most-easily officiate and organize; it can also serve a trial for the other platforms. 
 
We are still on the low-gear, and should pick up pace sometime after December 10th.

I would join but I need to know on what region will the server be in? Cause if its too far from Asia I might not be able to make it. I play on PC and my in-game name is the same as my user name. Add me if ever.
