Bayonetta 2

If they made a Bayonetta 2, what would you want?
I would like to see more moves and fighting elements and stuff for Bayonetta and maybe an additional unlockable playable character or two.

Pure action like the first one, and an additional unlockable playeble character.

No framerate drops.  EVER.
No terrible bike/rocket sections.

@KingBroly:  Agreed. Even though I played it on the 360 having a smooth framerate is a MUST.

For the PS3 version to not suck.

better story, the rest remain the same I reckon.

  • Bosses that aren't only impressive in scale, but also fun to fight.
  • No weapons hidden in the most obscure places possible.
  • No fucking quick time events.
  • Better storytelling.

You know what, I could kind of live with out another Bayonetta. But just more of the same would be Ok.

It's perfect as it is.  However, I would love the same gameplay with a different character in a different setting.

Making the hardest difficulty actually fun. Beating the game with no witch time didn't make the game fun, it was just tedious.

A Dante cameo...?

I don't know what I'd want since I'm satisfied with what I have.

I want them to get rid of those stupid one-offs like riding bikes and that shooter level, then make everything else faster, deeper, and on a larger scale than the first, if any of that is possible.

Why would you want to do that, the randomness of those level's gives it charm. But a large scale I can agree, but any faster and I'll be fucked. lol

The framerate is a little sketchy so far, and I'm on the 360. I'd hate to play the PS3 version. Also there is significant screen tearing in certain sections. So basically just fix some technical stuff. I haven't finished the story so I can't comment on that aspect.

yeah....

All I'd really like to see is a PS3 version that's able to match the 360 version in terms of quality.  Sega really dropped the ball on that.

get rid of the cheap shots. we're not psychic and we don't have 1/1,000,000,000 second reflexes --because that seems to be the requirement to not die!!

My thoughts exactly.

Would be good if they held the ps3 version back for a little longer before releasing it, so they can work a little more on it, like was done with Ninja Gaiden Sigma, because a console that delivers games like Uncharted 2 and God of War 3 is capable of way more than the first Bayonetta for ps3

That's not a really good topic title duder. :(

it is pretty much perfect except for the one kind of enemy. i would love to see some more platforming or puzzles in the sequel...

Yeah first and foremost have the ps3 version up to par with the 360 game, then i would just want them to fine tune the game with a bigger budget to make the cutsscenes and movies reel more solid and yeah have that frame rate locked down. Along with that just keep bringing the sexy crazy action.

No more PRESS X TO NOT DIE moments, and less cutscenes.

I think those parts of the game were fun, but they did go for too long. Each one should have went for 3 minutes or so max, not 10.

I agree with that one. They should add witch time to that. I guess they took that out as part of the challenge though.

PC version with full mod support.  Also, multiplayer pole-dancing and the inclusion of puppies being adorable that utilize witch-time when doing barrel rolls and somersaults.

I'd like to play co-op and have two shiny acrobats jumping around the screen and stripping/pole dancing! Other than that I loved Bayonetta and would love to see where they'd go with a sequel.

Personally I can't think of any kind of sequel to this as it'd be hard to top the pure levels of crazy that they hit with this one (where it feels part of the world & not just thrown in at the last minute) plus after seeing how Devil May Cry went from one game to it's spiral into sequels & where they took that one, I'd prefer the studio just make a game as wacky, fun & unique as Bayonetta was.
