Did you enjoy your first climax?

#1 Posted by Skye (411 posts) -

Demo was alright, nothing special though. Think i'll stick with GOW and DMC.

There are already tons of threads discussing the demo. You should just have posted in one of them.

I kind of read that very dirty-minded. Why yes, me and my girlfriend enjoyed our first climax :P

But yeah the demo was only okay.

#4 Posted by Skye (411 posts) -
@Icemael: That depends on your definition of tons. But yeah, you're right, just couldn't not make that joke.

Yes, I am very immature.
#5 Posted by Skye (411 posts) -
@CornontheCobbe:  That was the point.
#6 Posted by CornontheCobbe (2645 posts) -
@Skye: Point taken. I didn't even think of that.

Demo was batshit crazy, normally thats a good thing. But in this case, not so much.

That's what I thought. Especially in that opening scene.

Still haven't played the demo actually. But now I really want to.

It was pretty good, but nothing really special. The combat was fast and fun, especially once I started using the katana in the second level, and the graphics and animations are great. I still don't like the character at all, and I think I'll be sticking with DMC.

Don't really like the game, or games like it

Brilliant title

I loved the demo. Bayonetta looks like it'll be a great game. Though I don't know if it'll be better than DMC. I'll have to wait and play the full version. Should I just import it since it's pretty much all in English or wait?

I enjoyed but I think it might be too crazy for my liking.

@Skye: Question:  Did you enjoy your first climax?

Red12b: Answer: Why yes, yes I did,

 You're excited but you don't really know what the hell you're doing. And some way, one way or another, it's over too fast.

It was meh, your mom kept on.....oh wait, OH haha, THAT first climax.

All kidding aside I thought it was meh. I'm looking forward to Dante's Inferno, Darksiders (both are hopefuls) and definitely God of War 3 instead of Gayonetta. Uh, I mean Bayonetta.

Crap--I totally forgot I downloaded the demo a few days ago.  I guess I should play that.  I wonder how the difficulty is overall in this game?  I had Devil may cry IV for the PS3 and stopped played after you started the first Dante missions.  I loved the God of War games because I thought they gave you a good challenge, but was still playable for someone not able to devote his life to master crazy-ass combos.

@JCGamer:
The Difficulty overall is fine... Easy and very easy mode are "press Y/Triangle a lot = win" Normal mode is manageable for most people but gets very tough in the last three or four stages but very manageable if you don't button mash and learn when to time your dodges... it has a bunch of checkpointing and  many bosses don't have to be beaten from the beginning but the point penalty is pretty huge and will drastically affect your overall outcome.

Hard... is very hard... Climax mode is even harder

I just played it an hour ago. I'm not really good at it but so far I quite like it. I still feel like it's missing something though.

Love the gun art! Reminds me of a movie called Equillibrium. Only in Bayonetta you can shoot with your feet!!

Just finished the demo, I can't believe how amazing this game looks. It runs so smooth and perfect and everything is so great looking... even the backgrounds, have you guys taken time to look at the village that's across the water from you when you first get that big axe from the boss in the courtyard? It's phenomenal. You can see little waves crashing all the way over there, the detailed little houses and streets.

Honestly, from the demo, I now understand why this game got such good reviews so far. It's awesome! The combat is brilliant, being able to shoot your way out of anything and the awesome moves you end up doing. There is so much to it I find, especially when you factor in Tortures, Witch Times, and the myriad of different weapons you find which have completely different movesets. I can't wait to get this game now!

Yeah, the attention to detail in this game is fucking insane. It's unlike anything I've ever seen. From background scenery like the view you described(most people will never even see it, but they not only put it there -- they made it look better than most games' primary scenery) to the lock-on reticule to the small, barely noticeable references to other games... it's just crazy. Bayonetta's demo alone has more attention to detail than most full games.

And that's something I can appreciate.

it feels like 77-85 frame per second on the ps3.
