Beach Head

The first game in the Beach Head series, the game depicts the player's violent war effort to end a dictator's reign

Beach head was developed by Access Software Inc. and released for the Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum, Atari 8-Bit, MSX, Apple II and Amstrad CPC in 1983. The game plays out in six small mini-games which form and support the overall story arc of the game of deliberating an island of its newest oppressor, the dictator. The mini games all involve some sort of military theme and / or craft and the gameplay follows basic arcade tropes, involving shoot em ups and careful maneuvering.
