Beast

Overview

Norton McCoy was a worker in a nuclear plant, during an accident he was infected with radiation. As a result his son Henry was born a mutant, with unusual big hands and legs. Henry's classmates called him "The Beast" but his mutant body allowed him to become a rugby superstar.

When a criminal named Conquistador kidnapped Henry's parents to force him to join him in his evil plans, the X-Men saved him and his parents. Professor X, recruited Henry and thus he was one of the first members of the X-men.

McCoy is not only a fierce fighter, but he is also posses high intelligence and is very polite in his manners, making him a good diplomat between mutants and humans.

Beast was able to finished his studies and became a genetic scientist at Brand Corporation. While there he researched a fluid that caused bluish fur to cover his body as well as his teeth and nails to sharpen. At first he tried to disguise himself as a human using a rubber mask and rubber gloves, but soon decided to reveal himself to the public.
