    EverQuest 

    The beastlord class was first introduced with the Shadows of Luclin expansion.  They are a hybrid class combining the hand-to-hand combat expertise of monks, the magic skills of shaman, and the command of a unique pet similar to magicians.  Only large races can choose this profession.  Each race has their own unique beast, known as a spirit warder, that accompanies them throughout their journey.
