    Overview

    Beaterator is less a game than it is a utility for creating music for the PSP. It comes with many pre-installed beats and sounds that that can be used in created songs. Other pieces of music will be available for download, akin to Rock Band Unplugged. The game is a more fully featured version of an Adobe Flash game that was on the Rockstar Games website in the mid 2000s.

    Timbaland has stated that he used the program to produce certain songs on his Shock Value II CD as well as on some tracks for Jay Z's Blueprint 3.
