Ben was prematurely born off the island while his parents were hiking. His mother went into labor early during the hike. His parents quickly went back to the road and flagged a car down. His mother died during his birth. Ben first moved to the island when he was 8 years old. His father had gotten a job at the DHARMA Initiative as a janitor.The character of Ben Linus is voiced by Actor Michael Emerson.
