I saw this in a shop a few weeks ago for $20, but I didn't buy it cos I didn't know enough about it... is it worth getting or should I save my money?

One of the best games last gen. I'm really looking forward to the sequel.

Get it. Its one of the greatest games of the last generation. It was a shame it was overlooked by so many people.

BG&E is probably one of the few games of the last hardware cycle that might be able to hold its own a generation later.
Not because it plays well: its a decent Zelda clone with some bad stealth sequences. But BG&E's quality is in the game's storytelling, charecterization, art design, and osund design(music, sound effects and Voice Acting). So go ahead and give it a go. It's no Rayman 2: The Great Escape, but what is?

Yes, Beyond Good and Evil is hands down one of the best games from the last console generation.

I'll just go ahead and echo everyone else here.  Buy it.  You won't regret it.  The story and characters are some of the best and most believable that I've seen in a long time (and haven't seen since with the exception of Portal).  Plus, I think it's perfectly paced for an adventure game, and totally leaves you wanting more.  Which is what any great game should be able to do.

Anyone think there is any chance of an Xbox Classics download? That is how I got psychonauts, and would love to see BG&E on there.

Yes,  get it on steam,  but if you have a duel-core pc, you will have to turn off one of your cores, or you get audio/visual sync problems.

I bought it for $7 at Gamestop and have yet to play it. At least I have it I guess.  I heard it is great and it should be a great deal.
