ABA Ball The ABA Ball is the red, white, and blue basketball used in the American Basketball Association. It is most commonly displayed in pictures of Julius "Dr. J" Erving. The ABA came about in the 1960's as an alternative professional basketball league to the NBA. It eventually merged with the NBA bringing with it four teams: the Denver Nuggets, the San Antonio Spurs, the Indiana Pacers, and the New Jersey Nets. The actual ball itself is seen in numerous video games, usually only accessible through cheats. |
