    I know the reviews have been pretty negative but I watched the quicklook and thought it looked good, but I have never played a bionic commando game so for those who have played it should I get this one or the first?.

    The first is a lot better so try that first. If you really like then you should give 2 a shot.

    Thanks guys, I think I will get the first one since it's cheaper, and  apparently  much better.

    Yeah, I hadn't played Limbo yet and I was thinking about getting it. Playing BC rearmed 2 now, and I'm enjoying it. Still do kinda wish I had got Limbo instead.

    I'm only 7 levels into the second. But I'm digging it. 
     
    And occasionally working on the challenge rooms, which is more than I did for the first. Regardless the arm is still awesome.

    The first one is way better. Get that one. Then if you really like that one and desperately need more Rearmed, give the second one a look.

    I can tell you right now though, the only thing that was really improved in this one is the grapple mechanics.
