GFWL DLC Compatible with Steam Version?

#1 Posted by PatVB (333 posts) -

I'm considering picking up Bioshock 2 from the current Steam sale, but I mostly just want to play Minerva's Den. If I buy MD through through the GFWL site, will it work with the Steam version of the regular game?

Mostlikly no.

@PatVB: I have done it with Street Fighter 4 and Batman Arkham City.

@believer258: Thanks, I saw that thread, but didn't read very much of it. As long as it works, I'm happy!

@cannonballBAM: Thanks!

@PatVB: No problem.

I believe because the game still has to access the GFWL file for your save file and shares some files for running it.
