They took out the hacking?? I guess some people didn't like it, but I never got on my nerves. And i never thought about it giving you a breather, but I guess it did give you a chance to relax.

Who else misses hacking from BioShock 1?
I don't miss it as much as i thought i would actually. It was fun in the first Bioshock but i already did it probably hundreds of times in that game so the new way of doing it is a welcome change in my opinion.
" I prefer this new style. I've seen a Wii game which totally rips off Bioshock's pipe hacking thing, you should buy that instead if you liked it so much "Pipe Mania is the name, it's a pretty widely-known casual sorta game. My ex-girlfriend's mobile phone had a version of it, and my old satellite box had a version of it
" I prefer this new style. I've seen a Wii game which totally rips off Bioshock's pipe hacking thing, you should buy that instead if you liked it so much "It didn't really rip off the idea from Bioshock, because Bioshock ripped off the idea first from pipe mania.
I didn't have a problem with the tube hakcing in the first game. Been plaything through the first and I'm tearing through them like nothing (unlike other times)
Though, the new hacking makes it more intense, especially when you stand in front of rocket turret and forget it's not the same. Is the cameleon plasmid in this game too? To avoid the alarms?
Actually, I liked it too, but it certainly wasn't the first time I'd played it. A lot of people thought it was goofy in a bad way, but I still enjoyed it.
New hacking is way better. The hacking from the original game was nearly game-breaking where I'm concerned, and I had a couple of friends actually stop playing the game and trade it in simply because they felt that that specific portion of the game was overblown.
I loath the new hacking, its another sign that the sequal is a fast paced fps with little to no adventuring like the 1st...much cause alot of the talent from the first aren't part of the development of the sequel.
i no problem with the hacking in the first game. its a bit tricky once you add blown circuits and alarm triggers to the mix.
