Your First (Super Vague) Look at BioWare’s Next Game

Giant Bomb is pretty much the only gaming site on the net with any real integrity and class which is why it saddens me a bit when articles like this, which would just look like a shameless troll for clicks on IGN or Kotaku, appear. Thankfully it is very rarely though and the vast majority of Patrick's journalism is well written (sans the odd typo) and informative. I just wish for stories like this they would hold off until they have some more info or if they really can't wait just tweet it or add it as a forum post.
Your first comment about Patrick's lunch or whatever was pretty awful, but I feel where you're coming from on this clarification. I agree it sucks that a single piece of concept art can qualify as the top news of the day but teaser images and screenshots have always been a big part of games press.
Yes this image is a huge letdown (same with today's Alan Wake image, which I had been anxious to see) but I wouldn't blame GB for posting it. In fact, it almost feels irresponsible for them not to report it, (even when there isn't much to say). Blame the VGAs for their news trickle..
And if "free advertising" is your beef, I would personally take much more of an issue with them posting literally every single garbage trailer that comes across their inbox, as the video feed tends to get much more cluttered than the news feed

Bioware started juggling too many games... I don't like it. Anyways when I saw the pic I thought of Rage and the guy reminded me of Brink... rofl
Yup. This is exactly what I thought upon looking at that picture. But who knows... Being let down by BioWare is very rare for me.

Jade Empire is criminally underrated!
I wish it was Jade Empire 2. That game is boss and is still one of my favorite BioWare games.
That's clearly a 'technical' with some sort of African army/militant soldier/guerilla. Can't discern much more from it other than a somewhat cartoonish graphical quality. *Interested*
Reminds me of a Brink character getting thrown from a Motorstorm vehicle with Rage/Brink style graphics. If it's a racing game, I will be pissed.
It looks like Rage or Borderlands, but the shooting will be terrible and there will be a lot of branching dialogue paths that grant you the illusion of choice before those choices are revoked for the sequel.*
*This is a trite statement based on a single piece of art. Do not take it seriously, internet.
I see vehicle combat in the desert. 20th century orl later tech. May or may not be apocalyptic wasteland (I can understand the comparisons to Rage), but whatever.
Bioware doing action games? Well, I guess they've been heading strongly in that direction ever since Mass Effect.
a bioware spin in between Uncharted and Rage.
Post Apocalyptic shooter, with an over the top action movie feel, but lots of story and horrible (and i mean FUCKING horrible) facial animations.
