     Otto von Bismarck was the first chancellor of the German Empire and was born in 1815 in the Kingdom of Prussia. Otto von Bismarck is most famously known as the person who almost solely unified Germany and oversaw the foundation of the German Empire. His legacy includes being a master politician, wearing pickelhaubes, and having an elaborate mustache.

    In Civilization 4, Bismark is one of two possible leaders of the Germans. His two traits are Expansive and Industrious and his favorite civic is Representation.  In Civilization V, Bismarck returns as the leader of the Germans.
