Imagine the ugliness with that much freedom. This level of character customization is insane for any game let alone an MMO. They mostly show it off with half naked girls, but it's an Asian MMO, so I expect no different.

Wow, looks really cool. It's pretty similar to Eve's creator with all the sculpting you can do but with way more options and crazy stuff. Some really next level stuff. There's a part of me that just wants a game where you do nothing but create crazy fantasy characters for no apparent reason... although at that point it's more like a tech demo... hell I'd still probably lose hours and hours messing with it.

All the ladies they made look the same. It's like looking at Skyrim mods or some shit.

Still, the options look pretty insane.

@oakenguard: Yeah, when I have options in a game, I spend a ton of time with it. But with this I could see myself spending an entire day on.

That's crazy. I hope the game is F2P so I can turn myself into a pretty girl then never play.

Seems pretty smart. I noticed a pretty small number of assets (only so many types of hair, eyelashes, et cetera), so opening the character creation tools up to having a bajillion sliders seems like a good way to offer variety without having to generate a ton of assets.

Very disappointed the title is not "This games Character creation is some next level puppy!"

Also was super interested in this until I saw it was an MMO. Now I am just sad. I hope its F2P so I can just spend days making characters, but never actually playing the game.

I saw this on Reddit earlier today, very APB/EVE. Only it doesn't seem to have the robust symbol creator that APB had. Although, heart shaped highlights on the eye? The level of detail in this one is crazy.

I wouldn't count on making crazy freaks in an editor like this, they seem to modestly constrain the proportions to keep them human looking (or Doll like in the case of these Korean MMOs.)

I wonder what the body posing is for. Character portraits maybe?

It's not noticeable until the end when they're cycling through the faces, once that happened I definitely noticed how similar they looked. It reminds me of that one composite shot of all of the Miss Korea contestants and how they looked almost identical to one another.

Edit: As for the character creator - holy shit that is a lot of detail. I want to see someone make an abomination out of their character with that. Though I noticed you could change the size of your character's breasts, and I just had to shake my head. Haha, man, a lot of people will have fun with that I bet.

Honestly, I just want to get my hands on that character creator. I usually spend like 2 hours in typical MMO character creators before actually playing. After seeing Black Desert's char creator, I'll prolly spend an entire weekend in it before actually ever playing. I want in on the closed beta event :(

Interesting. I just saw a video about the combat today because someone linked it with the words "cool MMO combat" and it actually looks different than what you might expect from a MMO.

Ok that was pretty rad. Man I hope some single player games adopt this degree of customization!

Just seen this. Pretty darn amazing character creator. Damn Black Desert looks swell. There's been a slew of really interesting looking Korean MMOs, but somehow I never actually get around to playing them. I might make an effort to actually play this. It looks really ambitious.

Edit: Fuck I just love everything about how this looks... Anyone know if there's any plans for English localisation? Or am I going to have to just struggle through menus I can't read?
