    Picking it up today after work!  I've played about an hour or two of one of the Guilty Gears, super stoked for this game.

    I'm not interested in it, but I was never a super big fan of the Guilty Gear stuff either.  If I go with a traditional 2D fighter, then I'm going with the trusty KoFXII.  I've heard the online for this is pretty well-built, though.

    @jakob187: The online mode is fantastic. All fighting games should be this way. Round robin player matches, spectating, you can record EVERY online match you play, and win leveling. The only thing it's missing is an online tournament mode, which I have not seen implemented well yet (SF4 doesn't count, that tourney mode is just ranked matching with a disconnect % added).

    i just got street fighter 4 and i think im just starting to get into fighting games

    i heard blazblue has a more fleshed out story mode and thats kinda my thing so i might get it..eventually..although im not a huge anime nut

    i'll probably wait until its price gets lowered

    @ dart_driver: Check out some of the HD videos of the game that are on YouTube. Should give you a good idea of how it looks.

    I picked it up a few weeks ago. The visuals are amazing. Perfectly blending the character sprites into the 3D environments. It's certainly a lot weirder than Guilty Gear. I got my first WTF moment last night when Bang did that theme song power up super.
