The only character I have played as outside of training is Rachel. And I am the only person I have seen playing as her. I knew nothing about her before I played the game, but based on her looks I chose her because I have never played any character like her before. I will admit, her cat and bat really annoyed me at first, as cutesy anime-esque things like that annoy me (boy did I pick the wrong game...). And after playing with her for a few days and losing 90% of the time, I came to the conclusion "Shit. She is the Ness of BlazBlue." Everything has to be super calculated and timed. SInce those first three days I have gotten a lot better (still not very good), but losing in matches is no longer as frustrating.
This game is really impressing me the more I play.

Over the last few days ive been praticing with both Carl Clover and Rachiel Alucard and i have to say they are my two favorites with Rachiel Alucard being my main and such. I love her combos and super setups but the only downside is that she isnt very good at getting out of sticky situations.

@SpecialBuddy: I don't main Rachel but find that her B poke (the fork and gust) are gewd to use against close opponents. Her Down-Forward Hold C is pretty nice too!
