In Mortal Kombat mythology, Outworld is one of the 6 realms that made up all that there was. The various rulers and powers of Outworld are constantly trying to take over Earthrealm by defeating it's Champion(s).
The Pyramid of Argus is a 3D arena in Outworld, first featured in MK Armageddon. This platform, the top of a great structure, serves as the place of final battle between the would-be MK Victor and Blaze.
The Pit is one of the more iconic locations in the Mortal Kombat series, where combatants fight on a tall ledge and the loser can be knocked off to their doom.
