The "liquid of life" for practically all beings. In games, most commonly found outside the body and can be found in a pooled, spilled, dried, fresh or splattered state. This page is for games that actually have blood as an obtainable object.

    Any good fake blood recipes?

No that's too sticky, plus it doesn't have the same watery effect that cows blood has.  However, the farmers are too pissed from last time and it needs to be fresh-- so the deli's out of the question.

@ryoma122:  Hmm.. perhaps I'll try capturing the blood of the virgin chickens that my grandmother slaughters this time of year (it's a halloween tradition, and then she places their severed heads on her fingers, like finger-puppets, to scare the little kids).

Why not just make a few smallish cuts on both your forearms and then let the blood drip down to your fingertips?  Why go for the fake route?

Step 1:  get a kitchen knife
    Step 2:  Put to wrists
Step 3:  Push down and pull towards your elbow
    Step 4:  Profit!

on a serious note, syrup (maple, dark corn, etc....) and red food coloring works pretty well. My roommate did it to look like a zombie and it was pretty convincing.
