No that's too sticky, plus it doesn't have the same watery effect that cows blood has. However, the farmers are too pissed from last time and it needs to be fresh-- so the deli's out of the question.
@RipTheVeins: go talk to your local butcher thats were i get most of mu blood but come to think of it my local butcher is a few sandwiches short of a picknick
@ryoma122: Hmm.. perhaps I'll try capturing the blood of the virgin chickens that my grandmother slaughters this time of year (it's a halloween tradition, and then she places their severed heads on her fingers, like finger-puppets, to scare the little kids).
@kmdrkul: what i do is an art that i can do once a year and not get arrested i just speek nice to a few people when i do my weekly shop i dont cut my self up
on a serious note, syrup (maple, dark corn, etc....) and red food coloring works pretty well. My roommate did it to look like a zombie and it was pretty convincing.
