Anyone else encounter this? Basically Arianna is not where Arianna is supposed to be and instead the guy in the woods that gives you the tonsil stone is there. I did Shadows before I opened up the Clinic shortcut for once; dunno if that has anything to do with it. Obviously can't get Arianna's umbilical cord if she's not even there; I'm assuming the door NPCs are shuffled or something.

Edit: Was pretty sure I put this in the Bloodborne forum but apparently not.

I've encountered this as well, only it's not just Arianna's place but every window/closed door/place with red lamp. It seems to stay that way until you use the tonsil stone. I can't quite tell if it's actually a bug (which is also sort of a pun considering Patches.. er, form) or intentional, though. Especially considering that even where you would ordinarily receive the tonsil stone is where a different NPC can be talked to afterwards.

This is not a bug. Upon reaching a certain point in the main story, Patches the spider will appear at any location a NPC normally would. (After killing Vicar Amelia to be exact.) This means that in order for him to disappear, you will need to talk to him in any location and then go back to the Hunter's Dream. Upon doing so, the normal NPCs will appear where they should.

Yup. This. I thought that was a nice touch actually. It ensures some people will get to the nightmare lecture building early and experience a real WTF moment.
