    so anyone actually have all 1000 achievements for blue dragon..if so that is awesome i beat it and barely over 100 from it.  I guess time to start grinding to 99

    yeah that game has some crazy hard achievement points, shame I never got around to finishing the story let alone the achievements :/

    I ended up getting 255 by the time I beat it.  Most of the achievements I missed require you to level grind or job grind and I don't have the patience for that anymore.  You need to be at max level or job to get the achivement, plus you would need to be at those max level and jobs to defeat the optional bosses... I missed a few "one-time only" event achievments during the game.. nothing I'm worried about though..

    If I understood correctly there isn't a achievement to beat this game? Just started playing this and really like the battle mechanism.

    No I don't believe there is one for beating the game.

    Yeah, wow, it is an old thread, but I will jump in too. I never beat it. I think I got teh game at the end of 2008 and got some of the one time achievements, but missed some others. 
     
    It is a good game and a deautiful game too. More JRPGs should look as good as this one does.

    How long did I play to get 785?
     
    Both me and my wife played it a lot in an attempt to get the full 1000 - but we gave up eventually.

    Yeah, how long have you used on the game so far? Got 10-12h here with only 10g, should be getting to disc 2 soonish. 
    This is is good game, but I do prefer Lost Odyssey bit more.

    I've seen this game for dirt cheap several times now. I've always come very close to picking it up, although one of the main reasons why I haven't is because of what I've heard about the achievements.
