    Bomb Defusal Mode

    A mode in which one team plants a bomb at a designated location and the other tries to defuse it. Traditionally this is a no-respawn mode.

    Popularised by Counter-Strike, bomb defusal or search and destroy is a multiplayer game mode in which two teams face off in a no-respawn match. One team has the objective of placing and guarding a bomb (until it explodes) while the other team is tasked with preventing its arming or defusing it. Eliminating the enemy team is also a viable path to winning (assuming players also defuse an active bomb remaining).
