Boomzap Entertainment (Boomzap Pte. Ltd.) is a casual games developer based in Singapore, founded by Christopher Natsuume and Allan Simonsen in 2005. Both the co-founders have had their fair share of experience in the gaming industry -- Christopher Natsuume, the company's Creative Director, was the Lead Producer for Far Cry, while Allan Simonsen, the company's Technical Director, was in the team that developed the Spider-Man game for Nokia N-Gage, among other development teams.
In September of 2006, Boomzap Entertainment opened up Boomzap, Inc. in Washington, USA to extend its reach into the North American audience. To this day, Boomzap Entertainment is comprised of Boomzap Pte. Ltd. and Boomzap, Inc..
The company has no physical headquarters and has a purely virtual office environment. Despite this, Boomzap has been hiring people from Singapore, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Russia, Georgia and the Philippines, and has steadily grown to a company of 41 people.
Since 2005, Boomzap has developed 14 games for 4 platforms (PC, Mac, Wii, iOS) and in 11 languages (English, French, German, Spanish, Dutch, Swedish, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Mandarin, Korean).
