    You get to meet the teenage mutant ninja turtles at some point. But I guess that's only a secret if you skip the side quest...I'll go now.

    I loved that quest. There is an easter egg hidden within that quest, however.  Slight side-quest spoiler:

     Finding something like that on my own was awesome and was probably one of my favorite moments in the game so far. Surprised I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere else yet.

    While my buddy and I were playing together, we found that after you kill TMNT's and go into their living area, there are 4 switches that can be pressed, and each one changes a light pattern on the wall. If you light all 5 lights to green, another TMNT character reference ("Flinter", I think it was) comes out as an enemy, and there's a chance to get some pretty decent loot from killing him.
    Finding something like that on my own was awesome and was probably one of my favorite moments in the game so far. Surprised I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere else yet.

    I totally killed all of them, the n summoned up and killed Flinter.

    And never thought about TMNT

    I liked this particular easter egg, but the Minecraft head is really dumb looking. I wish it was something else...what a waste of a good head unlock. Oh well.

    @OneKillWonder_: Duuuuuude thank you! I was wondering what those damn buttons were for! I figured it was the developers trolling me lol

    @MB: I know right!? I would settled for a hat with minecraft on it something. The skin's aight but nothin' special.

    @believer258: It's so much fun man! I can't wait for Dishonored too though, I'm playing this like a junkie to free up time! lol

    @SomeDeliCook: thank you!

    Can a reference really be considered an easter egg...?

    If it is hidden then yes.

    I guess so. But then what constitutes hidden? A lot of those things on Kotaku are extremely obvious and you're almost guaranteed to find them. Like, the creeper thing is definitely an easter egg. Skin names aren't, I would say.

    You are correct. (unless it's a hidden skin)
